Mexico: Outlook improving, but still lagging behind

We are revising up our forecast for Mexican GDP growth this year. With consumer demand recovering more strongly than we had originally anticipated and the neighbouring US economy set to receive a boost from a renewed fiscal stimulus, we now expect Mexico to expand by 3.8% this year (previously 3.0%). But any boost is likely to be temporary and we still expect growth to slow to 3.0% next year....
