Mexico Bi-Weekly CPI (Apr.)

The jump in Mexican inflation to 6.1% y/y in the first half of April was primarily linked to unfavourable base effects from low oil prices a year ago. We doubt that this will concern the central bank, and we expect it to keep its policy rate at 4.00% for longer than investors currently expect.
