Bank of Korea indicates more loosening to come

The Bank of Korea (BoK) left its policy rate on hold at 0.50% today but gave hints at the press conference that fresh rate cuts were on the table. We have pencilled in a cut in Q3 as a result and are sticking with our view that the BoK will expand unconventional measures to bring down long-term rates.
