House prices to be 8% higher by 2022

The housing market looks far stronger than we thought it would a few months ago and we are changing our forecasts accordingly. We now think prices will be broadly unchanged over the rest of 2020, before resuming their march higher in 2021, as the economy recovers and interest rates remain near zero.
