Jason Tuvey

Jason Tuvey is a Senior Emerging Markets Economist, helping to oversee our coverage of Emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Jason joined Capital Economics in 2012 and has developed a strong track record in that time; he was named the number one forecaster for Turkey from both Consensus Economics and FocusEconomics in 2018 – the year of the country’s latest currency crisis.
Jason regularly presents to clients and has been widely quoted by the world’s leading media organisations, including the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and the BBC. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bath.
