Small Business Confidence (July)

Japan’s small firms continued on the road to recovery in July following the collapse in confidence in the aftermath of March’s disaster. Conditions improved significantly compared to June as supply chains were restored and the impact of the initial disruption faded further. Firms are less confident about the outlook for August when electricity shortages will be most acute.
