Activity leveling off in second half of Q3

The Japanese economy appears to have largely overcome almost all the initial disruption caused by the earthquake and tsunami in March. As spending and output approach pre-disaster levels, momentum has waned and activity in the economy appears to have leveled off at the end of the third quarter.
