What next for the Swiss franc?
Most of the world’s major “paper” currencies have fallen out of favour. But the Swiss franc is an exception to the rule. It has even outperformed gold since the start of the year. We expect the upward pressure on the franc to continue even in the event of fresh currency intervention, and forecast that the exchange rate against the euro will reach parity at some point next year, if not before.
